Bam-AoD
Yay or nay? I'm planning to eventually add traitor guard to my Death Guard, but don't want to use Astra Militarum. Have many people used the list or tried allying them? My assumption is they would be battle brothers. henrywalker
Yay, I run allied servants of decay and i run the army straight up. we have some really nasty units such as Ap3 2+ poisoned mortars and plague ogryn. We have cool units like zombies (they are better than codex) and ogryn and mutants. We have guard that are (were) fairly standard (albeit to a couple of codexes ago) other than random leadership and we also have special cultists with abilities like infiltrate. we can also take pretty much any IG tank and we can take an artillery strike. definitely worth taking a look at the list Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/292632-servants-of-decay/#findComment-3722070 Share on other sites

henrywalker
I've always wanted to like the exalted champion but I've never understood why I wouldn't take a lord at the same points. Also necrosius is worth considering especially as he gives your zombies furious charge. Otherwise looks good Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/292632-servants-of-decay/#findComment-3722118 Share on other sites
Bam-AoD
The Exalted is there there to stand in the middle of a 12" bubble with the command and mortars. So they benefit his leadership. Castellan Cato
FYI, the next FW book is supposed to be a re-vamp of this list. In the meantime, I'm just playing my nurgle guard as AM and hoping that we get some cool new toys. Bam-AoD
I hope they keep the Chem shells for mortars. It would be nice if they added them to tanks as well.
