Snow effects?

Recommended Posts

Crushed glass snow effects for hobbies looks the best and most realistic. It creates a runny slush sort of effect. There's also a way to create bright, fluffy effect like deep, freshly fallen snow, but I don't know how it's done.

I'd urge you to stay far away from baking powder as it will yellow and doesn't look right even when fresh anyways.

Yah, I've got the powdery stuff & Tamiya snow. Just wondering if anyone used weathering powders/examples of their bases. I was going to mix some dark pigment with Tamiya but ehhh
