Coteaz vs regular Inquisitor

So, what I want to do is include an Inquisitor Psyker in TDA with a Psycannon, and run him with my Terminator squad as a converted GK character. This allows him to deepstrike with a unit if I want him to, and lend his prescience (and whatever other power he rolls up) to their firepower instead of being limited to just Hammerhand and Banishment.

This costs (from memory) 110 points. The thing is, with T3 and 3 wounds, he doesn't quite fit as a Grey Knight character.

Now, it's actually cheaper to run Coteaz. But he only has Artificer armour which doesn't give him an invulnerable save,  and he doesn't carry a psycannon. He does get mastery level 2 (but is that really so useful when I'm already toting a ML 3 Librarian? I'm not short of Warp Charge points, the real value I feel is in the ability to select a different lore) and he gets his "I've been expecting you" rule which is nice but I don't think it'll be terribly useful most of the time. If someone is deepstriking within 12" of a terminator blob they're generally about to get the mailed fist of the Emperor right to the face. Further, I almost exclusively play pure knights, so his ability to unlock cheap henchmen squads holds no attraction for me.

In my smaller armies (around 1500 or less) I don't generally have much wiggle room in terms of units. I can't fit him in with a strike squad in a rhino, he can't join a dreadknight, and if I want to deepstrike the terminators then Coteaz can't join them which means I have to either join him to my strike squad (and begin them on the table instead of in their rhino) or deploy him on his own and hope he can make it to where ever my terminators wind up. I don't really like either option. To be honest, I don't anticipate deepstriking them all that often (practically never if I manage to roll up Invisibility on my Librarian) but I would like to have that option.

What are peoples thoughts?

If I had the choice, I'd pick coteaz almost every time. In my experience so far, you can never have too many WC dice. Also, his ability to get 2 powers (3 w/ psychic focus) is great for added flexibility. Additionally, His re-roll for siezing is great when you simply need to go first. And while coteaz's deployment options are a bit more limited, I think what he brings to the table is more valuable.

I prefer making my own inquisitors. And if you make one in terminator armour, you could also use him as a standard termie or a brother captain/grandmaster :-P. Saves money I guess haha.

But at the same time. Having a psyker with only 1 power (besides primaris) is kinda poo.

Coteaz is incredibly good value for his points. He's still one of the most undercosted characters in the game, and his abilities are largely unable to be replicated (especially Henchmen Troops and 'IBEY'). He's my default HQ in every list for a reason.

TDA Inquisitors are great value too, but they fit a different role to Coteaz. You generally wanna put them in with Terminator squads, as its where they are most useful (another psycannon, and then either 'Prescience'+Divination power or 'Psychic Shriek'+Telepathy power). With Terminators he jumps to majority Toughness 4, which makes his 3 wounds useful (he's cheaper than 3 Terminators and does more work).
