Knight of the Raven Posted June 29, 2014 Share Posted June 29, 2014 I might start a War Hounds army in 2015 if Sisters of Battle aren't given plastics by then, but I prefer the color scheme of the World Eaters even to my personalized War Hounds scheme. Besides, the World Eaters go on to become slaves to bloodshed who swap tactical thinking for a boring color scheme. Besides again, I love the idea of the War Hounds being the Emperor's real executionners as opposed to those fleabags, regardless of whether I believe they indeed were or not. Plague Angel Posted June 30, 2014 Share Posted June 30, 2014 This is one of those Legions where I think all of their states -- Legio XII, then the War Hounds, then the Heresy-era World Eaters, and finally 40k Berzerkers -- are only really understood and interesting in context of each other. It's a Legion thick with irony and inevitability. The War Hounds color scheme was better, I think, but "World Eaters" is a much more evocative name.
