Custodian Athiair
Second post. I've been slowly painting these ten guys for a while on and (considerably) off. They're not amazing quality considering the green was done ages ago and now all the paint is dried and dead. Sadly I already have a casualty of chaos insurgencey after one of the brothers was stolen by my dog and promptly lost in the grass (camouflage was too good) so a new Sternguard is required to be built and painted - I'm thinking making as many Heavy Flamer/Combi-flamer models as I can to make use of non-Vulkan rules Anyway pictures - sorry for lack of pictures and quality was in a rush with these http://i.imgur.com/GBq3ZAY.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/aFPhOwe.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/f9UHm4o.jpg
LordOrdGermany
They aren´t finished yet? Are they? I mean all the purity seals weapons casings etc....You should better put these into "works in progress"
Custodian Athiair
They're finished enough for me. Not perfect true with details missing.
Iron Father Ferrum
Huh. Where you spent the time to do detailing -- the plastron decorations and skulls, etc, in gold -- is crisp and precise. If you'd done the rest of the detailing I think they'd look awesome (I mean, the green is kind of bright to me, but that could be the flash/lighting). Custodian Athiair
Yeh I would probably now paint the green better. The green was done about 2 years ago so...
Max Power
A green or black (watered down) wash may take down the brightness and blend everything together a little better. It'll make some detail come out as well.
