knight commander pask

Hey guys, I don't play IG but I had a game against pask this past weekend and I just kinda wanted to confirm something.  He was using the gatling gun tank with 20 shots str5 with rending and rerolling armor pens.  So anyway he was shooting my Imperial knight he got a pen but rending doesn't give you ap2 vs vehicles, but then he said that Pask just gets +1 to the damage table anyway.  So my question is this true?  I can not find it anywhere and would like to know for future games because that cost my Imperial Knight 4 hull points from that gun on turn 1 just from that penetrating hit as he rolled a 6 +1 from pask?

Pask's Crack Shot let's you re-roll armour penetration in addition to having rending.

However, rending against vehicles give +d3 armour pen on a 6 instead of the AP2 given against infantry.

Whilst his Warlord Trait Old Grudges could give him preferred enemy against Imperial Knights (re-roll to hit and to wound), this still does not give +1 Armour Pen.

So no, as far as I can see from looking through the codex, there is no reason why he should have +1 to armour penetration - not even through orders. Perhaps just a misunderstanding with the Rending rule or a mistake with the Old Pask.

ok thanks.. now that you said that I also found another mistake.  He was rerolling 1's against the knight but my main force was Dark Angels, and he had preferred enemy on them.  O well, I still got third in the tournament.  I just wanted to know so if I run into this again I can correct it before it costs me the game.  The Imperial knight died turn 1 before I even got to shoot him because of this.
