Captain Coolpants
This was out aaaaages ago. I'm sure it's a completely custom model someone made, because I remember seeing a thread somewhere a fair few months ago with someone posting pictures of their building and painting process. Was made mostly of white plasticard sorta stuff Plus the cc weapon is in the wrong hand ;-p But it does look awesome Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293001-lords-of-war-and-the-grey-knights/page/2/#findComment-3742328 Share on other sites
Ozshock
love the dreadknight conversion posted above that one...awesome looking models both of them and if a GK LOW came out i would hope it looks like the one just above :) i would spend some hard earned cash getting that one for my army :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293001-lords-of-war-and-the-grey-knights/page/2/#findComment-3742335 Share on other sites

Zeratul29
Actually I do think we have a LoW, it's a GK thunder hawk :/ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293001-lords-of-war-and-the-grey-knights/page/2/#findComment-3742642 Share on other sites
Reclusiarch Darius
Actually I do think we have a LoW, it's a GK thunder hawk :/ Four twin-psycannon turrets and a turbolaser main cannon...not bad. Plus it holds 20, so you can put your Terminators into it. Captain Coolpants
Can't it hold a landraider or 2 rhinos? Or is that a variant of the thunderhawk? If it is, do we get that too? Captain Coolpants
If a landraider is being carried around.... Can it shoot? Technically it's not embarked because it remains on the outside. And can a dreadnought shoot from a stormraven? Captain Coolpants
No, but I see where you're going with this. Lol And it's just a retarded ruling! Haha. Reclusiarch Darius
No, but I see where you're going with this. LolAnd it's just a retarded ruling! Haha. I should write GW and angry letter :-P Makes sense to me. The gunships weapons and sensors are configured to work at that kinda speed, but a Landraider or Rhino wouldn't be. Not to mention their sponsons etc would be blocked by the body of the gunship at certain angles. Assuming you survive the crash, you'd probably get servitored by the Tech-Marines for crashing the Thunderhawk by shooting it down accidentally ;) . From a pure rules perspective, no you cannot. I don't think any Flyers have fire points anyway (Orks maybe), so its largely a moot point. march10k
So... fire as snap shots As long as you have to reroll successes? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293001-lords-of-war-and-the-grey-knights/page/2/#findComment-3745711 Share on other sites
Ozshock
for all rules purposes...you are embarked, there are no fire points, so no you cant fire maybe there COULD be a rule for it? but at what range are you using ur Dreadnought? the only one i would put in the grapple is a CC dred...most of the firepower are longer range and you would want to use it turn 1 anyway Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293001-lords-of-war-and-the-grey-knights/page/2/#findComment-3747227 Share on other sites
Captain Coolpants
There should be rule for it! Lol To at least snap fire, if models need to snap fire to shoot at the sky at speed, then they can easily snap fire to shoot down at the ground at speed, technically it's the exact same thing, just rolls reversed. But anyway, if a dreadnought can't shoot, could it activate sanctuary? Just in case the stormraven crashes and burns, so it would have a very small chance to save itself. Jolemai
Increasing rumours about Mephiston becoming a LoW, so I wouldn't be surprised if Draigo got the same treatment. Reclusiarch Darius
I do believe it can attempt sanctuary No, because psykers can only attempt witchfire powers when embarked, and only if there is a fire point they can see out of. I dunno if they've given our Thunderhawk and Thunderhawk Transporter 'Banishment' and 'Sanctuary' yet. If they have, then the Thunderhawk could attempt 'Sanctuary', but not anything transported by it (as they're embarked).
