GhostMalone
So I know previously people have been arguing against proto bunny ears but I was thinking on people's thoughts on using them in vet squads or rampagers etc. I personally thought they would turn jetbikes into some pretty deadly looking models, rampager bare arm mkii rampager torso with vet bunny ears and chains seems pretty iconic rather then generic mkiv rides. So thoughts? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293166-world-eater-veteran-heads-how-to-model/ Share on other sites
GrandMagnus
I think it would look good. Personally I really like the "bunny" ears of the World Eaters, they fit the gladiator theme and would most likely look great on rampagers. GhostMalone
I was thinking the same, it's a nice way to break up the angry heads and traditional mk armours, I'm trying to avoid over use of mkV or Sarum mk armour in my new force and think that use of normal weaponry armour won't work in the rebirth of my old WE Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293166-world-eater-veteran-heads-how-to-model/#findComment-3733727 Share on other sites
LaCroix
thought you stripped most of your WE for your BAs? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293166-world-eater-veteran-heads-how-to-model/#findComment-3733730 Share on other sites
GhostMalone
I did but as I've nearly got my BA to a playable size force it's time to return to my first love Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293166-world-eater-veteran-heads-how-to-model/#findComment-3733736 Share on other sites
depthcharge12
I actually think that the vet helmets might look nice on mkV bodies...hmm... *Looks at partially painted world eater models* "I think that I should do that...* *Looks at bank account* Oh shiitake mushrooms, I wish I could start them up again. Maybe when I win the the lottery :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293166-world-eater-veteran-heads-how-to-model/#findComment-3733792 Share on other sites
deathspectersgt7
Do A Whole Squad with the bare arms & the Vet helmet would look cool. GrandMagnus
I think the helmets would actually look good on MK III armour, they both have that brutal and massive look. Relict
The veteran helmets look their best on Rampagers, I think. The other World Eaters variant helmets (the ones without the bunny ears) would suit the Mark III Iron power armor better, I think. Mark III is typically issued to CQB-oriented troops, where having something the enemy could grab on to is a big no-no. The Rampagers are skilled/crazy enough to not care - ordinary troops, perhaps not so much.
