My Diabolist

Recommended Posts

The "I don't think I can quite take this off anymore" helm, cursed to never open his lips or feel the warm arterial spray of sacrifice, in punishment for some sin against the four.

A pose of such utter awesome (make him battle worn and you're golden) deserves a background of similar fitting.

I like both poses, but I think I just barely prefer the second.

It's "I see you there, goober. I'm a-coming to break your face open" in the second pose, versus "Well, we sure kicked those guys' asses..." of the first.

The prospect of violence is almost always more satisfying than than the aftermath though.

I think it's more that the first one is one we've seen a squillion times (and rightly so, as it's awesome) whereas the second one is more mobile, and much rarer. Stepping over wreckage towards the viewer.

Can't beat a classic! That said, I'm much more a fan of static, generally more dramatic, poses and so I vote the former.

Regardless of the pose, I'm sure the mini will look splendiferous.

Thanks, his name is Captain Eliezar which is Hebrew for "Help of My God" I figured there isn't really a Diabolist rank but instead a classification of an individual of any existing rank who could be described as one.

Thanks for all the other feedback, I think I'm going to go with the second pose with the helmet.

Also incase you're interested, I just got through with converting some Gal Vorbak.

Nice use of the possessed parts.

And the Diabolist is smokin' hot. I perfer the second helmed pose, looks very intimidating. A thought? Scrape away the skull on the chest, and replace it with a small book from the Grey Knights set. A little greenstuff, and you could have flames rolling from it.

Whatever, this guy is wicked.  :tu:

What set would that be from, unfortunately I haven't got any grey knight sprues.
