Forté
I've hit a little wall... Currently I'm painting a recently captured Stormsword which has been captured by my Slaanesh warband, the Divine Flayers. So far the new crew have only been ably to add some small areas of modification so it is still in it's IG (or AM) ash world combat colours. But, so far I've got the main colour down but am unsure whether to add a basic camo scheme, likely in VMC black grey. The additional parts will be in bold colours. Current position Cheers for any comments. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293374-corrupted-armour-schemes/ Share on other sites
GrandMagnus
I would say go for it! I think a black/grey camouflage would look great on that machine :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293374-corrupted-armour-schemes/#findComment-3737507 Share on other sites

Forté
Have seen those. Not painted camo properly since I built a huge Airfix Spitfire. Think I'll be doing a sort of drybrush/stipple on the edges to try and get a slight dusty/sprayed look. Forté
Ok...I added a simple camo which I'm actually happy with so cheers. Added a few decals too which I need to chip a little. Now to decide on a chipping colour really. Thinking Charadon Granite for most of it then Terracotta for areas which have heavier chipping. Maybe bare metal after that too. Any thought? Forté
Did some more weathering on the Stormsword as it wasn't really showing much. Prefer it now so I started work on the guns and engine area. I took a couple more to show how the weathering is from a little closer. Any ideas always welcome. Though I wont be using any weathering powders as I don't have any so it's all paint. incinerator950
I'm thinking of running it through some tankers, as I'm stumped when it comes to breaking patterns for something almost impossible to not find.
