redhorse Posted July 15, 2014 Author Share Posted July 15, 2014 I know...gun barrels! Well they are not my personal models, it's a commission and it was not a request from the client. Here is how I handled the Blue: Grey Primer Macragge Blue Drankenhoff wash( heavy one to two coats) Calgar Blue Hoeth Blue Fenrisian Grey Skull White The Contemptor was painted with the aribrush like in my first post and then washed VERY heavily with Drakenhof. Baisically I did all the airbrush blending and highlighting, made it look super vibrant and then darkened the blue. Then I did edge highlighting from Hoeth Blue. I have some more space marine commission's inbound. Salamanders and Blood Angels, I might post a more step by step WIP for those guys. Anyone interested?
