Greeting people, I just signed up here as I have meant to do for some time now.

 

I'm not good at introductions so I'll just tell you a little about my 40k fanboyism.

 

I first got into 40k when the macragge set came out, I was walking past a store I had never even looked through the window to that we all know as "Games Workshop". I saw a Carnifex on display and went in to see what that was all about and after about an hour of being painted a grisly image of death and violence by an employee at the store, I walked out with a macragge set and have collected and played nids ever since.

 

Afew years down the line and I see something that had be giddy as a perv in a porn shop, I see a trailer for the game "Space Marine" and place my pre-order that same day.

 

Afew more years down the line and we find ourselves here. I have played Space Marine almost every day since its release (aside from a stint in the foreign legion which ended with an honourable discharge) and now lead a very successful group of Death Guard.

 

I am eager to get stuck in and plant my feet firmly into the ground of this community.

Good to hear you liked Space Marine. Definitely the best non-RTS game for the franchise by a long way (even though Space Hulk does ringa few of the old nostalgia bells).

Yeah, I'm actually looking forward to the new Spacehulk game. Should be interesting to see that franchise revived as an fps.
