Fuzzy
I was just wondering if any of you could point me in the direction of a book about or heavily featuring the post - heresy Death Guard. I just got done reading "Flight of the Eisenstein" and loved every second but can't find much about the Death Guard from then on. dragon950
There are none, I too wish to find out what made mortarion such a grumpy bastard. He seemed like such a fun loving, poison drinking guy. He is mentioned in several other books, but more as a side note. Blood Angel Scout
Off the top of my head, there's an Audio book called Mortarion's Heart but that's more about a certain GK Grandmaster and some Death Guard appear in the Word Bearers/Marduk series as well as in Vengeful Spirit, Scars and The Lion from the HH series Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/293535-any-good-books-about-the-death-guard/#findComment-3741032 Share on other sites

Blood Angel Scout
Oops, sorry Rob...how could I forget, as Heathens has already stated, really is a good short and will give Dragon an answer to his question as to why Morty is the way he is. Visitor13
The Death Guard feature in the novels Cadian Blood, Blood of Asaheim and Blood Gorgons (with all this blood around you'd think you'd get the World Eaters, but nope), and I think in Iron Hands by Jonathan Green (only started reading this one). George Mann's Raven Guard stories also have Nurgle Marines as the antagonists, and as far as I know the chaos marines in Death of Antagonis are Nurgle's own, though not Death Guard specifically. Typhus also appears in two stories in the Treacheries of the Space Marines collection, and there's also a recent trilogy of novellas called Plagues of Orad or something, though I don't know if there are any Nurgle marines there.
