Vehicles are relatively easy to destroy, whilst Monstrous Creatures and units with strong invuls and multi wounds are not. Vehicles are relatively easy to destroy, whilst Monstrous Creatures and units with strong invuls and multi wounds are not. It's a tank that's sole purpose should be destroying other tanks and it fails at this using the 30k D weapon rules. I don't face many Mechanicum players so I can really give feedback on that and the one I do doesn't really give me much trouble with his units. Ishagu Posted June 13, 2016 Share Posted June 13, 2016 Maybe in the lore. I'd use it to insta kill swathes of multi wound infantry and t7/8 Monstrous creature spam. Besides regular D is crap to play for the very reason of rolling a single 6 = removing a 1000Pt Titan off the board. No one likes playing that. I'd personally hate to lose the Falchion to a 6 on turn 1, or any SH Tank or Titan. Massaen Posted June 16, 2016 Share Posted June 16, 2016 I have just run a 3k event for 18 plyers at 2500 points last weekend using the alternate D rules so can provide feedback from my players as well as observations. In a nut shell - I will ALWAYS use them for 30k in future. They make D weapons consistent in results which is IMO the best part about them.
