guys I've found more pfg shenangians

Okay here's the rundown on this shenanigan! It would be good in tournaments if matches are all PTA

 

Ingredients:

 

Fortress of redemption

 

Techmarine, 3-5 servitors, power field generator.

 

2 squads of devestators (anti tank) and a greenwing command squad with banner of fortitude.

 

Tactica:

 

Stuff the whole lot in the fortress.

 

The fortress now has a 4++ invul and the tech can repair the fort on a 2+. Your infantry gunline from the battlements and from the roof with total impunity. They can be harmed until the shields come down and since the tech can repair the shields too your basically impervious to damage. Add in a mix of whatever in support of it (you could put whirlwinds behind it!!)

 

And your laughing.

 

If the walls come down everyone has fnp if you've deployed inside correctly and you've probably given them a right proper thrashing.

When you talk about "repairing the shield", you talk about "void shield"? Because the option doesn't appear...

... Sorry maybe I've screwed up. In any case the tech can repair hp and the building gets a save as a result of the building counting as a troop transport.

The pfg adds an additional level of protection, which is ceritanly good, but you would still need to buy void shields for all four Fortess of Redemption building sections to be fully shielded.
