you have to look at the army as a whole. grey hunters were better than tacticals for sure, but then we don't get any of the wonderful toys and options space marines get. that was the downside to having the solid troops(jack of all trades, as russ intended).

if you bring grey hunters into line with tacticals, but don't add in thunderfire cannons, special ammo sterngaurd, ironclads, scoring bikes, land speeder storms, 45pt TH/SS terminators, grav guns, centurions with grav cannons/amps?, combat squads, legion of the damned.........basically what you have done is us right and proper.

I really would love to continue this debate, but this isn't the thread for it.  Also, I imagine it's been beaten to death previously, somewhere.  I can't be the first one to bring this up :P

 

Where can I find a consolidated rumor thread on the next SW codex, though?  Seems to be several threads talking about specific details.
