Flakk missiles for dreadnaughts?

Looking at the army list, Dreadnaughts are the only unit which had the option to take a missile launcher - without specifying which missiles it can fire. Every other unit says 'frag and krak only' in parenthesis.

Does this mean that Dreadnaughts can fire flakk missiles?

I don't have the 7th ed rulebook yet - if our codex refers to the main rules for missile launchers, how are missile launchers described in the rules? FWIW, in the weapon summary at the back of our codex, flakk are listed right alongside frag and krak. So, although its just a summary, RAW indicates that Dreads would get flakk missiles when they upgrade to a missile launcher.

Page 177 of the rulebook tells us that all missile launchers come with frag and krak missiles. Flakk missiles might be available as an optional upgrade. In the case of dreadnoughts they aren't an option.

One thing that *might* be of value you to you is that the Mortis Dreadnought option with a ML gets Frag and Krak, but also has Skyfire/Interceptor when it remains stationary in the previous movement phase.

If you already have the Dread with the ML, getting the Mortis bit from FW is not a big expense, and the Space Marine Armory book is a great book to have no matter what.

Best,

Those are not the most current rules for the model, sorry bud.  You need to pickup "Warmachines of the Adeptus Astartes" to get a copy of the most current rules.
