Regular Formations + Apoc Formations + ICs?

Can the same models (e.g. 4 Valkries and 1 MT Command, 3 MT Scions, 1 Commisar) from a regular Formation (e.g. Codex:Militarum Tempestus - Airborne Assault Fomration) also be used for an Apoc Formation (e.g. Apoc War:Pandorax - Mission Elite) with the Special Rules for both applying?

 

Also can you join an additional IC (e.g. an Ordo Malleus) to the above and how would the Special Rules for the above apply to the IC?

"All of the units in your army must belong to a Detachment and no unit can belong to more than one Detachment" - from the Detachments section of Choosing your Army in the rulebook.

First answer, for the reasons given by Morollan, is no.

Yes you can join the IC to the units (if they are battle brothers) but they gain none of the formation rules. Unless it is something that gets conferred to it via the unit it joins or the transport it is in, such as deepstrike via droppods, even if the rule that is conferred was given to the joined unit by the formation rule(s).

At first I thought Formations were different from Detachments but after Morollan's post, I reread and it does indeed say that a Formation is a type of Detachment.
