Seahawk
So then, how does one resolve Eldar runes? It still bothers me. "he can choose to use these runes to receive a +2 bonus to that Deny the Witch test." Does this mean you get +2 to each dice roll (needing 4's instead of 6's), or +2 successes? Teetengee
I would think +2 to each roll??? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294129-rerolling-dtw/page/2/#findComment-3755189 Share on other sites
Morollan
Each roll is an individual failure, if it said to reroll all failed deny the witch rolls then I would agree with you. But it doesn't, it says tests, and I am not sure that tests are the same as rolls. Not relevant to the OP but the Grey Knight ability does say roll rather than test. Seahawk
The SW abilities also say add +1 to the rolls, not to the tests. Considering these all dropped at the same time, one would think there's a difference. I would lean toward +2 successes because of that, but there is no quantitative quality to such tests; they either pass or fail. *shrug* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294129-rerolling-dtw/page/2/#findComment-3755221 Share on other sites
