Capt. Tates
Hello guys, I've played a few games with my Saboteur and he was always does really well. My Tactic with him is to load him up with a Jetpack, Combi-Melta and Melta bombs. He comes in from reserve blows up a tank somewhere, shoots another vehicle in the rear with his combi-melta and then hopes to weather the next turn. His turn 2, assault another vehicle (if there is any) and blow a hole in it with his melta bombs. If there's no vehicles left he supports other units in assault (obviously not joining them) and hopes to hold out. What do you guys think? And what do you/would you do different? ninjasuperspy
I'm also interested in other people's ideas w/r/t the Saboteur. Jump Pack, Combi-Melta & Meltabombs was how I was planning to build mine for exactly the reasons you mentioned but more for Rule of Cool and imagining him blowing up tanks left & right than any actual tabletop experience. Capt. Tates
He has both the rule of cool and good tabletop presence. He literally can end 3 vehicles in 2 turns. And at smaller point games when I haven't got much anti-tank he is a big help for a fairly small cost. I've started to model him but I'm still not sure on him. I might finish this one and have another go with some different bits.
