Another Wolf Pup

Thank you two!
Yes, that's exaclty the "problem". People here use both variations and there are perfect examples for both in this thread and many of the other threads.
And people are happily willing to give advice, show their own models as examples, link me some guides, etc.

The blue one is the more canon or "official" one and can very well be paired with the ice/snow/storm-asthetics of Fenris.
The grey one is more pre-heresy, can work well with the Wolf-asthetics or even a bit inspiration from the Fire Breather and other volcanoes on Fenris. (Especially with a Sven Bloodhowl/Kjarl Grimblood Great Company)

And there are so many more points that could be made for both.
...and that's not even considering if I want to build up one of the canon Great Companies or a Great Company of my own.
So after all it's my decision.

Depending on the color scheme I want to use, I need to buy either a black (or very dark grey) or a blue/TheFang can.
Additional question would be: Original GWS Can or something similiar from the next home depot?

Luckily I don't need to find the answer right now. It's still some time til I get to them. (Time I will spend with saving as much money as possible, getting myself a Codex and learning every bit in it)
But still, it's something that bugs me. Good to see that I'm not the only one who needs some time at this crossway :D

To be honest, even if you use The Fang spray as a base coat, I'd recommend a black primer as the first coat anyway.

If you really can't decide over blue vs grey, try painting a couple of test models in each scheme, and hope that one is either more appealing or enjoyable to paint. Or just do two Wolf armies/companies, one with each scheme, which is clearly the ideal solution with no downside biggrin.png.
