JeffTibbetts
Wow! You've totally channeled the old-school orange studio GW Blood Angels from back in 2nd edition days! All you need is a Goblin Green base with green-painted sand on the base. But seriously, I've always loved that red and it looks super hawt on the terminators. Side note: We need better pictures. That blended highlight looks phenOMenal! I am quite pleased with the highlights too. Thanks man. Try adjusting the white balance in your camera- looks like its shooting for daylight right now but you've got incandescent lighting in your picture, and this is creating the yellow cast. GrunTeufel
Almost done. Waiting for a deathwing terminator head and I have to get some varnish. http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/WIP/2014-07-25215118_zpsc938f268.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/WIP/2014-07-25215133_zps8eab67f6.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/WIP/2014-07-25215143_zps3c802beb.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/WIP/2014-07-25215157_zps2d3a2796.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/WIP/2014-07-25215212_zps7e24698c.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/WIP/2014-07-25215225_zps7845a5d8.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294158-wip-blood-angels-assault-terminators/#findComment-3755989 Share on other sites
JeffTibbetts
Looking good! What's with the funky gloss spot in that last pic? Get a little funky with the crazy glue? ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294158-wip-blood-angels-assault-terminators/#findComment-3755999 Share on other sites
GrunTeufel
Looking good! What's with the funky gloss spot in that last pic? Get a little funky with the crazy glue? Exactly. The glue I use is extremely runny. Accidents happen occasionally. At least it doesn't leave any white marks behind and It will go away when I varnish them. JeffTibbetts
Right on. I use Zap a Gap, and it does ghost a bit if I'm not careful. Thinking about making a switch after this bottle's out. What do you use? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294158-wip-blood-angels-assault-terminators/#findComment-3756008 Share on other sites
GrunTeufel
Cheap, strong and easily obtainable. At least here in Istanbul. I use the little attachment for gentle things like joints and already painted parts. Quite happy with it. Although I don't use it with big models since it sets in really quickly. A single mistake and you suddenly have lots of work to do. But it works nicely with infantry sized things. http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/2014-07-25223532_zps5b63d20c.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/2014-07-25223547_zps9bfdf663.jpg http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk37/jacksonseverimben/2014-07-25223636_zpsa292f9f2.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294158-wip-blood-angels-assault-terminators/#findComment-3756027 Share on other sites
