Where's the spiffy sword from??!! I like it paired with the shields. Very vikiing-esque!!

Really good looking wolves, brother!! I am currently painting my first ten TWC along side Canis (my etl vow) and roughly 25 fenrisian wolves, and I too am having a blast painting them. The organic form of the wolves makes for some very simple and very effective methods of painting!!

Cheers dude :) the swords are from one of the space marine kits i cannot remember. 10 TWC..... just wow and that is going to be so good with the new character coming out! Look forward to seeing those.

I really like them!

One critique though, the Marines look like they had much more attention than the wolves. They are crisp and they really pop, where the wolves look a little rushed. I've painted 3 of them up myself so I do know the difficulty in painting them without individually blending each hair on them.

Also I have a critique on the kit itself. The seams on the head are a real pain in the butt too deal with!

Can all three of them have SS?

I really like them!

Well spotted sir!!! :D These were my first wolves, and i had no idea how to approach them. So i kind of did the *safe tactic* dry brushed!. For my next set of wolves i will defo be layering the different greys or browns. The guys are magnetized for all weapons.

Another mistake is the gap between the head and the joint. Should have green stuffed it.

Cheers guys :) Erm the highlight paint is the edge highlight paints citadel released not to long ago. I stumbled across the how to paint the storm wolf guide on youtube by gw... watched it till i found the bit i was looking for *the runes* really simple to do and effective.

Step 1: Caledor Sky - water it down so its really runny.... and use a small brush and paint it into the runes and let it run. do 2-3 coats to get the deep blue color

step 2: Temple guard  blue - Water it down again, but not so much paint it into the gap and again let it run and fill all the corners. This time u want to paint some around the edge of the runes as well to start the glow. again do 1-2 layers to get a strong tone.

step 3: Baharroth Blue *edge highlight* - Highlight all around the edges of the lettering with this, now you get the POP.

step 4: white scars - Paint the tips of the edges on the lettering.
