arizonajirt Posted July 27, 2014 Share Posted July 27, 2014 Hey guys and gals of te dark angels forum. Since the release of the new codex a few years ago, I have liked the dark angels. I attempted to start a DA army back then, but with my poor painting skills and a bad lot of sepia wash, I gave up at that time. Now with a few years more painting skill and about 50,000 more points under my belt, I am gonna try this again. So I went into my box of mysteries and pulled out: 1 bike chaplain 1 raven wing command squad (no banner yet) 14 bikes 2 attack bikes 2 land speeders 1 termie chaplain 4 old plastic termies (not sure what edition they are) 1 land raider ares 1 land raider crusader And 1 le chaplain from dark vengence. I've also got a ravenwing battle force, 3 boxes of ravenwing knights and a land speeder vengence This will be the start of my angels of redemption. Of the extra bikes, I made 2 bike librarians. So only a single bike is left over at This point. Now this is where I am torn. So I paint them all up as angels of redemption, the half green/half white or do I paint the bikes are all green and termies as all white, or vise versa? Suggestions? DW? RW? Greenwing? Mix? Master Avoghai Posted July 28, 2014 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Well, I remember the v2 termi plastic sets, it showed on the edge a AoR termi with the half schedule... Maybe it would be a good idea to keep this. As for the knights, you could consider that, as the most elevated warriors of their chapter, they decided to keep the black livery of the former legion in memory of the treason of Caliban and paint them black with a green/white tabard. It would bring a little difference without breaking the coherency... Because between green termis, white termis, green/white bikes... The brain of your opponent will hurt :wacko: I've painted my DW black and I prefer because it makes them more sinister particularly the knights. I plan to build a small AoR force (actually I plan to paint a 1000pts force of each successor and use them as fluffy count as WS or IH allies for my DA) and they will represent account as WS force.
