MakoBoy88
I am more and more loving the idea of my World Eaters. But I'm so easily swayed. I have chatted locally to some people starting legions, of which there are SoH and Word Bearers. So half of me wants to go Loyalist to face them in the battlefield. So then I'm left with Salamanders and Iron Hands. Which both definitely have te Legion feel I am looking for, and incredible Primarchs. But the average troop looks a bit lame. Help. Nova_chron
In the fluff, they do. However that is the whole World Eaters mentality: They are not soldiers. They are warriors. They care nothing for their own dead as long as the battle ends in victorious slaughter. For an example, read Betrayer, especially the part where Khârn and his men charge the Ultramarines shield wall. I loved 'Betrayer' brilliant book there is a reason the only space marines I have painted in years are now white and blue The end of that internal monologue is just so perfectly Khârn. It is probably one of my favorite parts in the whole heresy. ( I am unashamedly a world eaters fan and my legion will be world eaters once I take the plunge) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294392-find-me-the-legion/page/2/#findComment-3764554 Share on other sites
