Alternate feild guns

Recommended Posts

Do you mean this mortar? If so I'm afraid I don't know of anything but given it's obvious base on WWI weaponry I'd start my search with historical war gaming and go from there. It might be difficult finding something more modern looking though as such large mortars aren't really used anymore.

How is this?

Looks very similar but slightly more contemporary with the gun shield.

Could extend the barrel with a Vanquisher cannon too to resemble a modern field gun more? Sure someone will have one spare, if not I might.

*sorry for the eBay link, just came across this flicking through.

Curious constructs have some artillery pieces, although they've got a different style. They've got a kickstarter going with Zinge industries that's going to see them launch some pieces more along the lines of what you're looking for, but I have no idea when they're going to be available.

Looking at the WIPs its not somethign that would match the theme very well I dont think.

While that does look nice, the blast sheild looks like part of the design (something I would remove on my peice) but adding the vanguisher barrel....what if I just added the muzzle brake to the barrel of the regular heavy mortar

Adding the Muzzle Break sounds good, if you have the pieces, a mock up might be good to visualise it, if not, if you're any good at Photoshop you may be able to put a picture together as an idea before you spend any money (paint might even work if you don't mind it being a very basic idea).

But definitely sounds like something to consider unless you find a better model.
