reckoning
The only bare, human arms Ive seen in 40k are the Catachans and HB scout. These are not exactly up to par IMO. Ive been examining bits sites' pics for the past few hours looking at various alternatives and so far it seems that Fantasy Orcs and the Empire Flagellants could fill in nicely. Does anyone have experience using other species'/models' arms as a replacement for humans'? KaosRaptor
I don't have any experience with bare (plastic) arms, but you might want to look into Chaos Marauders from Fantasy as well. I'm semi-sure that's what the esteemed KrautScientist has been using for some of his! http://eternalhunt.files.wordpress.com/2013/01/khorne-wolves-test-models-5.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294705-alternative-bare-arms/#findComment-3767528 Share on other sites
LupusAegis
Warhammer fantasy beastmen ungor/gorherd arms fit quite nicely too. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294705-alternative-bare-arms/#findComment-3767565 Share on other sites
Toomanyprojects
Under certain circumstances the Vampire Counts Zombie arms could fit reasonably well too Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294705-alternative-bare-arms/#findComment-3767571 Share on other sites
Phantomzero17
I have some extra Necromunda Goliath gang pistol arms. I've considered putting them on marine bodies but the arms are actually beefier then PA arms. So when mocking things up with blue tack it kinda looks off to me. Hey you might like the look though so try seeing if you can hunt some of them down. BassWave
Anvil Industry also sells bare arm bits for marines. I haven't had personal experience with them, but I have used their other products. Top notch stuff. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294705-alternative-bare-arms/#findComment-3768582 Share on other sites
