Perpetual Dawn
Damn postman came when I was out today so no new codex for me.. Which is annoying as was trying to figure out how to do my wolf guard terminators. (thinking one with heavy flamer/assault cannon magnetised and power fist). Two storm bolter/wolf claw and one power axe storm bolter (maybe to customise the bolters into combis) and one th/ss.. Anyway that wasn't the reason for posting. I wanted to ask the community their thoughts on power axes and frost axes... Normally I'll take a power fist, especially on a wolf lord, because I don't see the benefit of frost axe as it costs the same... But wolves with axes look so much cooler... Am I missing something about the humble axe?? I dont think they have changed in the new codex have they? Any thoughts welcome Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294871-the-virtues-of-an-axe-or-two/ Share on other sites
Squark
Frost axes are now cheaper than power fists, so that's something, and the relic frost axe will usually let you make a ton of attacks. viddar
I like axes but I mainly just used power axes on my hunters. They benefited from the extra attack. I haven't gotten my codex yet but im hoping frost axes are cheaper cause they were hard to justify over a fist. Edit: thanks squark that makes my day Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294871-the-virtues-of-an-axe-or-two/#findComment-3771698 Share on other sites
