Landrick
In the preview does anyone think that the "Tesseract labyrinth" sounds very similar to Inquisitor Valeria's Hyperstone Maze but specifically for daemons? yeah its all the same Necron tech. Apparently the GK and Crons had decent relations at one point and would trade, but have broken down (per 5e codex) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294879-apparent-7th-grey-knight-codex-information/page/7/#findComment-3779910 Share on other sites

Valerian
Just to set a point of reference for myself, and to get a head start on list building, I used the leaked army builder screenshots to recreate my current army (everything I have available, not a specific list). I ensured that I re-baselined my current force, by removing options like Psybolts, and specialty Grenades, etc. that do not appear in the leaked screenshots, to ensure I was comparing apples-to-apples. When all was said and done, using 7e points, the newer version of my army is exactly the same points as my old force (total of 2840 points of units available). Amazing! The units that got more expensive were: Purifiers by a little bit, due to marginally more expensive Hammers and Psycannon Razorbacks, base cost up Dreadnoughts, base cost up Brotherhood Champion, base cost way up (I assume to compensate for 2nd Wound and other new abilities) The models that got less expensive were: Terminators, base cost way down, and Psycannon cost marginally lower Librarian, default Nemesis Warding Stave much cheaper, ML3 upgrade significantly cheaper, as well Nemesis Dreadknight, Teleporter and Greatsword upgrades, significantly cheaper Rhinos are marginally cheaper Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294879-apparent-7th-grey-knight-codex-information/page/7/#findComment-3779966 Share on other sites
Dread
Nice break down V. I'm really anxious for the dex too. Read the extract. The way it reads our entire army should be fearless, won't be but should. It was interesting but the constant daemon this and daemon that got a bit old, fast. Also read like we will be immune to perils, if so YIPEE! And it also sounds like a storm bolters will be stronger than normal. However this is from the reading so... Quozzo
Our storm bolters where stronger than normal due to psybolts. As they were an auto include then perhaps they come with all units as standard, or maybe the images weren't complete after all. With the price of psycannons and rhinos/razorbacks increasing alongside the price of terminators decreasing, they may just become useavle again. The terminators I mean. Landrick
Included psybolts would be amazing... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294879-apparent-7th-grey-knight-codex-information/page/7/#findComment-3780282 Share on other sites
Madmaardigan
I was reading on BoLS, that the army builder thing a lot of ppl are basing these opinions on was a completely false, that is was a major oversight by the standards dept. that are supposed to read through the code. Now that doesn't mean they missed it and now we have an insight to it, but it could also mean we aren't even close to what we'll actually be getting Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/294879-apparent-7th-grey-knight-codex-information/page/7/#findComment-3780306 Share on other sites
Gentlemanloser
Completely false? I'd believe that a little bit (like the GK units were put in error to the SW details, our GKT cost the same a WGT for example. Apart from the new GK Relics that were listed. That's new equipment, not Wolf related. Exile Noctis
Any idea what the Relics are or has no information been leaked/released/rumoured? Valerian
Any idea what the Relics are or has no information been leaked/released/rumoured? Well, we know what they are named, but we don't know what they actually do.
