Do dreadnoughts get legion rules?

Like it says on the tin.

I was just wondering if my World Eater contemptors should get Rage and Hatred from the legion rules and RoW just like the legionaries.

It would make sense considering they themselves are just a legionary in a dread chassis, but I think the rule says it applies only to all units with the [insert name] Legion Astates rule.

What do you guys think?

Ok, I'm leaving.

Hey dude.

:P

But rules as intended would argue that they could...I mean do they lose their legion's tactics and tendencies when they're interred? Seems a little silly.

I mean there at least an example I know of on the last page in Betrayal that talks about one of the WE dreads going bat:cuss crazy from the MIU and nails interactions.

Would you guys be partial to playing against anyone using legion rules for their dreadnoughts?

I mean most legions could benefit from it, i.e. Iron Hands dread is AV14 against shooting, World Eater dread becomes useful in cc, Word Bearer dread gets buffs to sweep, etc.

Eh, debatable. I don't exactly see a Night Lords Dreadnought being able to take advantage of stealth. It would certainly be fun though if certainly Legions(such as the World Eaters) gave benefits(or consequences) to Dreadnoughts, but I think that's why Forgeworld ultimately left them alone. It's a somewhat difficult task just individualizing the Infantry models to specific Legions. If they start doing it to the vehicles, then it will just get insane.
