IA2: 2nd ed Legacies of Glory

So, I took another look at these with the new codex in mind. A few things:

 

Bjorn and Stormrider both seem eligible. I am not sure whether Logan gets perks bought for Stormrider. It has a separate profile but is not a separate unit (model?)

 

Signus Prime is cheaper than the Wulfenstone and provides Furious Charge in a bubble. No rage though you do get Preferred Enemy (Chaos Demons). You could give it to Stormrider and have him flanked by cavalry and everyone would get the benefit.

 

IWND on Bjorn would be nice. IWND on stormrider? Potentially really good depending if it works (does it apply to his wounds too, and does he get a separate IWND for each? My guess is yes/no, respectively, but I haven't scoured the rules for an answer yet).

 

Monster hunter on one of the fliers could potentially come in handy against wraithknights. Melta and helfrost are only wounding 50% of the time: boosting all 3 shots to 75% would be quite nice. Perhaps a little too niche for the price tag (it's less useful vs t6-7 MCs) unless you know you're fighting a specific list.

I'm fairly certain that Bjorn and Stormrider (and Murderfang, for that matter) are classed as Unique, and therefore, can only take what they're listed as being permitted in their codex entry. 

 

I could be flat out wrong, however. The Legacies of Glory could be incredibly interesting added to some of these guys, or even a few dedicated transports or gunships.
