aye it costs a fair bit so it is for larger games. Hopefully if they can get into combat without heavy casualties they can make their points back. I've magnetised the TH/SS for SB/SS option so that gives me a saving if I need it. Plus I can put out an 8man squad for cheap enough and get them in a flyer/LR to hopefully get them to where they need to be in once piece (again though that is getting costly).

I got a 2.5k game this sunday!!! I will test that exact combo !! and feed back. However my only difference would be is that I think i will add a rune priest in TDA to try and get endurance and presience.

Please do let me know how it goes. I'm thinking I'll run this set up in an up coming 3v3 tournament (2k per person). So it would be good to gauge how well it goes on the field. My initial idea was to have at least 1 pod with GH in to send down in the first wave (or maybe 2). Then bring in the termies with RP without scatter. 

remind me of the IA upgrade again.

 

I ahve a feeling its the upgrade for a pod that means it doesnt scatter. Can purchase for one pod. 

 

This combined with 2-3 locator beacons on this and other pods will be very nice for then bringing in TDA - and take pressure off the rest of your army, as folk either have to shoot those pods, or deal with deepstriking units coming in pretty much wherever you want.
