Malkuth
I don't really have any proper lists calculated yet, so I thought I'd make a more general thread. The question is this: If you were to play thunderwolf cavalry and drop pods, with pretty much nothing else, in a 1500 point list, would you take two lords and two units of TWC (something like 2 x 4 models), which only leaves points for three units of grey hunters in pods, or rather just one TWC unit (5-6 models) and one lord, which allows five pods? I'm assuming the usual drop pod tactic of taking an odd number to get two or three on the first turn. Rune_Priest_Rhapsody
Well, you want some target saturation. I would get as many pods down turn 1 as possible so that the TWC are not taking all the heat. But the thematic player in my says go with 2 TWL with accompanied packs (maybe one with TWC and the other with Fen wolves...) and then 3 pods. I guess it also reflects on your play style and how you will be playing. Fun and fluffy or tooth and nail. Grimtooth
I would put both thunder lords in a maxed out TWC Pack with the Fenrisian Wolves of the lords up front as ablative wounds.
