Rune Priest Jbickb
So I totaled that bad boy up and it is looking like it is gonna be apocalypse only unless you play games in the 3000 point range. I totaled it up with light load outs on wolf guard where the load out was flexible and it came out to 3280 points. Just thought I would post this in case people were curious. Kasper_Hawser
Yikes, just what I thought, I was wondering how the heck is all those costs going to come up to. The additional rules looks great for a normal game but once you add in Appoc shenanigans into the mix (lord of wars and fortifications), I wonder if the formation is still great. Pariah Mk.231
With a bunch of It Will Not Die vehicles and preferred enemy across the whole formation I'd say it's still worth it in Apocalypse games. The biggest trick would be keeping the war council alive to keep those benefits going. You could even add another two landraiders/stormwolves as dedicated transports for the two terminator units that will be deepstriking and still have them benefit from It Will Not Die as they would still be selected as part of the formation. I'd hide the war council in the stormfang as it's the only vehicle in the formation that isn't a dedicated transport.
