Shadrach03
The rule for Vengeful Strike simply states that when a unit arrives from deep strike and does not specify reserves so unless there is a FAQ to it I would say that Draigo could dance some deathwing terminators around the board for constant rerolls to shooting. Madmaardigan
Ah bummer, considering a deathwing/GK combo force and that would have been nice, at work so the codex is at home. Still nice that GK and deep strike turn 1, run/shoot and take teleport homers for a DWA 2nd wave. Would Draigos gate of infinity interact with deathwing twin link on deep strike I wonder? No the wouldn't get the twin link, the rule for DWA, says "arrives by deep strike..." For GoI with Draigo, you not deep striking just following that same rules for how your force is redeployed onto the battlefield Further to that gate of infinity says, "using the rules for deepstrike." To me that clearly says you are simply applying the same rules but the action is different But I'm sure some ppl will argue this lol I love my grey knights and don't want to purposely handi-cap them but I think this idea is wrong Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/295439-the-new-draigo/page/3/#findComment-3790196 Share on other sites
