Urauloth
I've never actually seen the components of a sanguinary guard jump pack before (in the flesh, so to speak) so I've no idea how the wings attach to the sides of the jump pack. What I want to know is; are there any consequences at all to leaving the wings off? Any gaps to be filled, etc, that kind of thing. The reason I ask is that I want to give a mini a jump pack in the vein of the FW MkIV heresy-era jump pack, and the sanguinary guard pack looks to be p.much exactly the same thing, except with wings. If this is easy to do, I can snag one off ebay and keep the whole thing plastic. If leaving the wings off causes a huge hassle of some kind, I'd be better off tracking down a forgeworld pack. Peredyne
You can leave the wings off without any repercussions. There's a small stub for each wing on the sides of the JP. No gaps, no unsightly holes. Just a nice little stub. You can just paint it as normal. DarkMark
Completely separate mate. There's a little nib that the wings can attach too: you won't need to fill anything. The 'packs come in 3 bits; front, back, and circle 'jet' bit. Lucien Eilam
The wings attach to the back half of the torso, not the jump pack itself. There's a lump on either side of the torso for alignment, which you could ignore, or cut off if you don't like it, or just use a different torso.
