Almost a shame that the vorax's style is so different from the rest of the FW models. They seem a little out of place, but still super cool interpretation of the Vorax! I think the osl is very well executed! Especially the vorax eyes look positively glowing! Great work! The models are Dark Age CORE pathfinders, I think once I get the rest of them painted up in the same scheme with the blue OSL they will look like they fit a bit more. Kumabear Posted August 24, 2014 Author Share Posted August 24, 2014 Thanks all! no oil wash, just inks. as for the scheme, Its embarrassingly simple: Prime black Drybrush tin bits drybrush copper drybrush silver basecoat yellow with darksun sponge on dark brown wash with a mix of black and brown ink, use earbuds to wipe away most of the inks so they dont color most of the surface Then osl with airbrush : Dark blue, light blue, white, then brush white Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
