Sad
Working on some new models for my 1000pt Grey Knights army. I wanted to go with something a little less generic so I figured the detailing in purple would be a nice contrast against that bright, steely silver army our Grey Knights seem to adorn. The first image is just some posing I am working on for my Strike leader. (Image uploading has been frozen at work so I'll have to upload some more images when I get home. I have some painted test models I want opinions on and also suggestions on nemesis weapon colour) http://i58.tinypic.com/aoa9u.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/295602-exponent-of-purity-grey-knight-wip/ Share on other sites

Urauloth
Purple instead of the usual red? Should be a good swap. The strike leader is nice, although if you want suggestions, you might consider turning his helmet a little more so he's more obviously looking where he's pointing. Sad
Quick update. Still working on colors for the power weapons. Any suggestions to avoid colour conflict? Also, haven't yet finished his little tabard thing between his legs- any suggestions on the colour? Quite happy with the very steely look. In real life it's very crisp and sharp. http://i58.tinypic.com/2343up.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/295602-exponent-of-purity-grey-knight-wip/#findComment-3787105 Share on other sites
Brother-Chaplain Kage
Good choice with the purple. You might hit that trim on the bottom of his tabard with the purple as well, and possibly a very light wash(more like a glaze) to tie it all together, kinda like GW did with the blue tint.
