StrangeGuy
Hey all. I've become disgusted by my 6000 points of vanilla marines that I haven't played a game with since 5th, so I've done the only logical thing... I've started a Space Wolf army so that I'm not drowned in half painted models! That being said, I have a question as I begin building my list. My first purchases were the codex and the Stormclaw box (ridiculously good deal). I've just been looking through the rules for Krom and I noticed that his warlord trait "Saga of the Warrior Born" is different from the "Saga of the Warrior Born" in the current codex. Stormclaw: " Saga of the Warrior Born: ... The Warlord must always issue or accept a challenge whenever possible. When fighting in a challenge, the Warlord re-rolls all failed to hit rolls." Codex: "Saga of the Warrior Born: ... When fighting in a challenge, the Warlord re-rolls all failed to hit rolls." Which version do I go with? The version in the Stormclaw book that contains his rules or the Codex which was released more recently? Thanks in advance for your replies. Vash113
You go with the version in his special rules, however I would not suggest actually using Krom from the Stormclaw rules. Having to issue and accept challenges while striking at I1 and without Runic Armor is just not very good. Just use a standard Wolf Lord and arm him however you want. That's the reason I was looking for the clarification. I will still build him because I like the model, but will probably just use him as a wolf lord with a frost axe or something. Thanks.
