More importantly, has anyone found a unit that can manipulate reserve rolls without starting on the board from turn 1? (Please dont suggest Ultramarines Sicarius, Comms Relay, Wolf Guard Void Claws formation, Pods with Beacons, etc). Do Inquisitor still have those awesome psycannon that aren't salvo? Yes. Scryers doesnt happen till psychic phase and MotF has to start on the board ? Im specifically trying to null deployment with turn 1 top load. Dunno if they have FAQ'd it, but either way its redundant - Inquisitors can only take psycannons if they have terminator armour ie. relentless. Master of the Fleet does have to start on-board. What you're asking for doesn't exist. Reserves happen before even the Movement phase. So either buy a Comms Array or don't worry about it. Yeah, i've kind of come to that conclusion, which means im looking at Ultra/GK again; running sicarius (reserve manipulation) on the board with draigo (GoI), tigarius (overall strength of character backed by a bajillion psychic dice) with Centurion death star and sternguard pod alpha (anti AV, something the grey guys desperately need) and then saturating with cheap termies and a couple DK's. Could be kinda scary at higher point levels.
