How do you outfit your terminators?

So I just bought my 2nd Box of WG Terminators and I am stumped on how to build them. Now I already have a squad made up for CQC, and I figured I'd make this one up with more ranged options, but I figured I'd run it by the forum and see how you folks choose to outfit your terminators as well as discuss what loadout performs best for you.

My set up is this (375pts) found they did a great job the other night after porting in and also had FNP 6+ from the warlord trait so that kept 2 of them alive just in the nick of time.

1 SS/WC - Leader

3 SS/SB

1 PM/Combi-P

1 WC/Combi-P

1 PA/Combi-P

1 PS/Cpombi-P

1 PA/SB

1 PS/SB

This gives me options to spend points on upgrades to get frost weapons and/or a cyclone if I need more melee/fire power. But keeps itself cheap enough to justify them. Also have one SS model that can be upgraded to a TH/SS combo.

I am thinking of trying this with the thunderstrike formation. It could get expensive but 10 PAWG (plus some combi) and 10 TDAWG all at once could be a good combo.

My mind would be using the new formations and running a squad of Void Claws. Turn up on turn one. Attach to them a battle leader  with SS+TH for tank bashing, or wolf priest + melta bomb for healing balms, preffered enemy thing, plus gives you re-rolls to all other reserve rolls.

A shooting wolfguard squad,  combi plasma / melta and stormsheilds, Assault cannon and stormshield. they teleport down turn 2, or arrive via drop pod turn 1 and unleash an awful lot of AP2+ pain where you opponent doesn't want it. Storm bolters I just don't see the point, as a regular bolter is 2 shots in rapid fire range, and your going to be wanting to be close to something. maybe leave a couple of power weapons hidden in the back just to kill stuff it they are charged. go for power axes as they are free, AP2 S5 and the storm shield front rang will be taking the hits at higher initiative.

I have just re-organized mine to assault directly from a LRC or Stormwolf, so the squad reflects this. I have was pretty inspired by the WC/SS option this time around, as it seemed to have a good combination of lethality, protection and speed. At the moment they are accompanied by a TDA Rune Priest with Combi Melta and Frost Axe.

Leader with WC/SS

2x with WC/SS

1x w/ TH/SS

1x with Heavy Flamer/Chainfist

I went with the Flamer mainly because I don't anticipate this squad being out of CC very much.

This is mainly what I'm intending to do with mine, and this loadout is along the same lines as I was thinking. Actually being able to strike at initiative with WC, plus rerolling to-wounds, and strength 5 seems pretty legit against most things.

One thing to add- I made this loadout specifically for Company of the Great Wolf detachment, which requires challenges. I wanted the Rune Priest and the TDAWG leader to have different options/speeds, so I can pick which is better for any particular matchup...

5 with storm shields and storm bolters plus a cyclone missile launcher.  Dirt cheap and hard to move,  good range and within 24 inches you still get 10 storm bolters,  the same that a 10 man tactical would at that range.

liking this as a backfield unit. Not sure id keep all 5 with SS, maybe 3 and keep a couple with power weapons just to deal with any deep striking the opponent may bring ;)

Personally I would deepstrike in with a drop pod teleport homer.  The unit is easier to ignore then remove if it is hiding backfield.  Deepstrike into midfield of closer and you have the option to assault and you can either tarpit or vs eldar/tau etc probably make your way through most units with anything other than a monstrous creature struggling to take them down.   Up close with your drop pod grey hunters you could actually have a pretty solid base to start the game from.

Personally I'd say 3 or 4 storm shields and the cyclone. These guys will work their way through a devestator squad eventually then when they are finished have some.good shooting of their own. Even better to teleport them in from a drop pod homer. Basically means doubling the transport capacity of your drop pod and not leaving units isolated.

Being free, I would go with 4. A 3++ helps a lot more for a unit that is up close and personal with the enemy than a storm bolter. Give the 4th guy a heavy weapon and go to town!

Just checking but you know the storm.shield replaces the power weapon? Not the storm bolter.
