brother_contagion
I was reading about challenges and I don't remember reading this last time: "For the duration of the challenge, these two models are considered to be in base contact with each other and, when rolling To Hit and To Wound, they always use the Weapon Skill and Toughness of their opponent. When allocating Wounds caused by either of these two models, they must be allocated to their opponent first. These Wounds cannot be reallocated by the Look Out, Sir rule." So, not counting special rules or wargear, does this mean they always hit each other and wound each other on a 4+ or is it saying they don't use the majority WS and T? Maybe I'm reading into it too much, the wording struck me as odd. shandwen
I think it is just worded a bit wierd as there is now no requirement to be in base-to-base contact in a challenge. Venemox
my interpretation was they don't use majority Toughness or WS. The dueling models are facing each other, and as such roll to hit and to wound vs the other duelists WS and T. Leonaides
What venemox said... imagine a unit of ogryn led by a commisar. You'd roll to hit him specifically, not the majority toughness of the ogryn. Morollan
Only GW could take a simple rule like that and make it sound like you swapped statlines with your opponent!
