tiberius183
I know the difference rules-wise, but is there a cosmetic difference between the two? If there is, I really can't tell in their pics... Adeptus
Paladins have books on their heads, more elaborate oath shields (those little shields on their shoulders) and a different helmet (that scoops out, rather than in, so to speak). Captain Coolpants
Basically, for paladins you just glue on all the spare bits terminators bits, seals, skulls, ornaments ect. boreas
Haha, I can use them. But I usually get to play low point games and they are not very cost-effective at 1000pts. Rurik the blessed
Just put the books on their backpacks to the terminators and Voila! thraxdown
Haha, I just point to my terminators and say "that unit is paladins". I tried to magnetize the books on top of their backpacks but they're too small. The magnets either wouldn't hold or they were too big and looked ridiculous. Rurik the blessed
Try to "pin it", i did a little hole on both sides and place a piece of "paper clip" to the book, so it is easy to put on the backpack Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/296086-difference-between-termies-and-paladins/#findComment-3797137 Share on other sites
jeffersonian000
I like to use the squared off heads and no bling on my GKT, for a clearer, newer look. For my Pallies, I use the rounded heads and all the bling, for an older, more established look. In addition, I treat Libbies and other ICs as Pallies with no helm, and Justicars as slightly more blinged GKT, with helm. My Thawn went helmet-less, and might become a "Glaive" carrying IC. Mordrak went helmet-less and may one day be a regular GM. My Ghosts were all no-bling, rounded helms, for an older yet not established look; no idea what to do with these guys atm.
