hahaha, gun sights! I thought it looked cool :D

For weathering effects I use pastel chalks which I scrape with an exacto into fine powder. Its really an in-expensive method, so for the rush effects I used red, brown, yellow, orange and for the smoke effect on the turbines and launcher the black chalk. You get really fine control using this method as you can simply brush it off if you dont like it. When you ready to set it, you use isopropynol, (rubbing alcohol) applied with a soft brush.

Before I embark on my stormgrrr, I thought I'd experiment a little on the landspeeder, also getting the world war II plane dirt on body panels from flying inside combat areas. Sohail's baneblade was my inspiration :D

excellent! not too comfy to use but you'll get used to it. Since having pneumonia and being hospitalised a few years back, I don't take any chances.

Eyes are always a bugger to paint, lol, its the luck of the draw for me. Half my PA grey hunters have a slight 'retarted' look to them :D biggrin.png

Just finished my skyclaws. Posing static SW legs can be an issue, so I tried different model angles to give them a sense of forward motion.

C&C welcome, was a fun build :)

those skyclaws look great, i mean they all do obviously haha.

i find with posing that if you cant get such a great positioning using the bits you have, basing parts can be handy to get the right angles etc. Like with one of my bikes i wanted it leaning in the direction he was looking, as if he was turning, so after looking through many bits of slate i collected when out up a mountain with my dogs (haha) i found a few pieces which look fairly flat, with slight bumps in the right place which when glued make the bike lean smile.png

either way, your work is awesome mate!
