Buy the sternguard box or buy the forgeworld combi weapons sprue.

You get three of each combI weapon (including grav) in an early bolter pattern complete with their grips in case you want to just attach them to their magnetic waist belts.

I miss those bolters that still have their grips on them, makes me sad knowing gw removed them.

There only three diffent sets of robed legs, with two being repeated. Also, the upper torsos cannot be pivoted unless you chop off the back portion and reposition/replace it.  There is also a complete lack of special and combi-weapon options.

ALL of the legs and torsos are different, and as you can see there are many weapon options to choose from.  The only weapons on the sprues that Dark Angels can not use (for now at least) are the heavy flamer and the grav weapons.  Otherwise, there are two of each special weapon, plus two of each type of combi-weapon.  You might trade the grav weapons and heavy flamer to vanilla marine players for more special/combi-weapons that you can use (or save them in the event that some Dark Angels squads get acess to these weapons in the next codex).  A couple sets of Sternguard Veterans will give you plenty of special/combi-weapons for two units of Company Veterans.  I still have ten robed DA Vets, and one box of Sternguard Vets to put together. I will probably end up getting one more box of Sterguard vets and using the Sternguard model bodies (and some of the combi-weapons) for my regular Battle Company Sergeants, and use the other gear on the DA Vet's bodies for my Company Veterans.  I may even magnetize the arms on them, such that I can build the unit up in various shooty formations.  My other squad is set up for close assult/close combat, which is how I usually field DA Company Vets.

Anyways, there are some pics and ideas for you to work from.
