Formations and NDKs

Well first, it's a detachment, not a formation. And since there is no limit on detachments any more, you can take as many detachments as you like, provided you fulfill the basic requirement (in this case, one HQ, and one troop). Of course, you could always play unbound and take nothing but dreadknights...

Add a Libby for the HQ spot and yes its legal. You might need to drop to strikes to make the points, but all depends on your load outs. And don't forget to make one of those NDKs your warlord.

'merica.

So LoW can't be an HQ? interdasting..

also..

Libby (~130)

5 Term (~165)

2 NDK(~460)

comes out to 1510 w/o factoring loadouts on anything really, except the NDKs.

1 Draigo for 250~ points

1 GKIS for ?? pts

or..

3/4 Assassins for the remaining ~490 points

I can see these detachment shenanigans being FAQ'd out after a while lol. Like 1 detachment per codex being used.

Nah, in the main rulebook they say 'hey maaaaan....we don't wanna cramp your vibes! Take as many detachments as you liiiike!'

Probably to allow people to take 2 or more LoW options in normal games :-P

I have a sitcom in mind now. Its called 'Ghaz and Kaldor'. It's about two roomates in the warp who get into wacky escapades due to their dumb luck, and inadvertently foil the plans of Mr Tzeentch, their cantankerous neighbor.
