Just curious I can't see it, but do centurions have an inv. save? And also they can't deep strike I'm just trying to do a more in depth comparison to them an pallies other than s8 ap 2

Draigo is their invulnerable save.

Drop the cent sergeant first, then ring the two spuds and draigo around him to put daddy with the stormshield facing the nasty stuff.

Indeed.  Graves using Armour Save for thier Strength would be enough to make them interesting.  Wounding as a S6 versus TDA, and S5 versus PA is good.  Especially with thier high RoF.

They didn't also need to be able to ignore all armour saves as well.

This is another reason I desperately want TDA to have a 1+ Armour Save.

You would still fail and die on the roll of a 1.  But you would get a TDA save versus AP2 weapons.  TDA was made to work in Plasma Reactors afterall.  AP2 Plasma guns should be able to breech it without fail...

I think you mean shouldn't msn-wink.gif

Given that all 2+ armour is relatively the same, it would be easier if they just lowered all plasma to be AP3 instead. Only weapons designed to kill terminators, heavy troops and vehicles should be AP2, and lose rapid fire sad.png

Nah, if you made plasma AP3, no one would take it. You only need to look at stuff like Vespid to see why .AP3 is fine on something like a krak rocket etc, but on a dedicated 'anti-heavy infantry' gun? Nope.

Centurions are better than Paladins in every aspect but melee combat, and even then you can take the Assault version for S10 at I4.
