Drop the cent sergeant first, then ring the two spuds and draigo around him to put daddy with the stormshield facing the nasty stuff. Who thought a weapon that ignores a model's armour save would be able to use said armour save against said model. Wounding as a S6 versus TDA, and S5 versus PA is good. Especially with thier high RoF. They didn't also need to be able to ignore all armour saves as well. This is another reason I desperately want TDA to have a 1+ Armour Save. You would still fail and die on the roll of a 1. But you would get a TDA save versus AP2 weapons. TDA was made to work in Plasma Reactors afterall. AP2 Plasma guns should be able to breech it without fail... I think you mean shouldn't Given that all 2+ armour is relatively the same, it would be easier if they just lowered all plasma to be AP3 instead. You only need to look at stuff like Vespid to see why .AP3 is fine on something like a krak rocket etc, but on a dedicated 'anti-heavy infantry' gun? Nope. Centurions are better than Paladins in every aspect but melee combat, and even then you can take the Assault version for S10 at I4.
