Punk possum
I'd echo Ephers comments, looks like you are off to a solid start. Ebay is such a lottery I got two raiders for my Dark Eldar from there and well one was so badly assembled and covered in gluey finger prints I just gave up and chopped it up for terrain! So the big question is whats next? Pigshead
Well there's quite a lot that was on here before, I have a full demi company, most of which I have posted now, and then there's a bit of armour, a load of ravenwing and 4 squads of deathwing plus numerous character models. Right now I'm adding the finishing touches to a whirlwind. I may post some more today if I get time. Tygwyn
It's a conversion I've not seen before and I like it! If you drilled out those bolter barrels it'd look even better... But it's a really good job. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/296368-taking-the-paint-a-little-further/page/2/#findComment-4261636 Share on other sites
Pigshead
Oddly, I've drilled out all my bolter barrels except this guy, and I have no idea why.... Epher
Wow, you have been a very busy man! Every model is crisp, clean (except for the mud) and well painted! Not to sound like an echo but the tech biker looks sharp. FinylCut
Pigshead: You've a ton of stunning models here crammed into two pages. The all melta command squad is especially menacing. Any chance for a full army shot? Thanks for sharing. Pigshead
Sure, I'll sort one out over the weekend. That's my 3rd company almost done. Got a third tactical squad to finish highlighting, then i'll post a full demi company and armoured support shot. Then I'll start posting my Ravenwing and Deathing... Then it's onto my .... other projects... Father Mehman
Not to be the voice of dissension but (ah, the word that turns apologies and flattery asunder-"but") I'm sick of the loading speeds for the pictures. Here I am trying to look at some cool models and slowness cometh. Come to think of it, that would be a neat name for a band. "And here they are, people: Slowness Cometh!" Keep it up ! Pigshead
Latest tank to add to the motor pool. Kr80gZ
Very impressive! I see you've done the Command Squad using Vet box and have a cloak on your Apothecary. Punk possum
Looking good. I especially like the robes on your sarge and the gold raven heads on the banner poles is a really nice touch.. One small thing have you considered drilling the barrels out? In my opinion it's one of those things that turns good in to great. Pigshead
Yeah, drilling bolter barrels is something I do on every new model, but many of my older one haven't been done. Most of the ones I've posted here without drilled barrels have been drilled since. It does look better. Pigshead
Slight break from the Ravenwing today. Most of these pictures I'm posting are of models that have been painted for some time, or that have just received some final finishing touches. But the next two units are my latest complete, from basecoat, jobs.First half of my third Tactical squad, some of these guys are made out of spare parts from my bits box, hence the somewhat unusual poses and arms...http://i.imgur.com/Db7xDRJ.jpgA sniper team I bought about two years ago and barely used until the new codex. Pigshead
Bit of a break over, been working on a side project for a couple of months (playing too many video games), but here's the latest additions to the veteran ranks, a trio of grav gunners for some command squad variation.http://i.imgur.com/lxFtiXY.jpgAnd quite simply because I had some spare parts laying around, I made this guy who I used in one game as a Company Master with Foe Smiter.http://i.imgur.com/VKJCAAO.jpgNow just an assault squad a few drop pods to go before I have a full battle company.
