Do new plastic terminator bits fit old metal terminators?

Hello. As the title, really. I have several of the original metal terminators (a solid lump of head, body and legs, with two separate arms and a slottabase), but not the right arms to put them all together properly - most of the original arm bits look expensive, so I was wondering if the newer stuff would fit in terms of scale and look. I know the newer models have larger bases, but I don't know if the models themselves have grown, or just have wider stances now. All thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

Here is a comparison between an old metal Terminator (formerly belonging to a friend, but now awaiting stripping) and a new one:

Apologies for the poor photo, but hopefully it'll give you enough of an idea. The arms alone are larger on the plastic than the metal.

There is more of a difference than I thought! blink.pnglaugh.png

I have 30+ old metal terminator torsos and I'm using plastic arms/weapons for them, they look fine imo. Here's a (poor)picture of a WIP metal terminator with a plastic assault  cannon and power fist.

I don't have any pictures available but I have to say I agree new plastic arms do look good on the old metal models. I like them even more with them because it helps with some of the size issues when using the older metal models. In fact, I recently came across 15 old metal terminators and updated them with newer plastic arms and mixed them into my current squads with great results.
