Thought I would share a series of pics for my WiP on the Freeblade Amaranthine.

This all pretty much base coated. Body was sprayed with Tamiya Gunmetal and then drybrushed with Necron Compound. The broken columns on the base are from Secret Weapon Miniatures.

Next, I got the leg plates on. Edge highlighting on the main body -- which is a little difficult to see -- and also on the feet.

Edge highlighting on the arms and leg plates. Also got recess washed and wash on the gold plus some layered gold to finish off the leg plates.

Got the carapace based and on with some edge highlighting on the cream armor plates, also the right pauldron. The left one sitting there you can kind of see the primer scratched. As I was spraying it rolled over in my hand and mucked up the primer. I had to scratch it off with my finger nail and re-prime it since it was all lumpy and yuck. Will probably also have to go over it with some very find sandpaper to smooth it out. Also got the face plate based and highlighted on the cream part.

So, now I just need to get the left pauldron done, edge highlight the purple armor on top, finish off the base, and then decals.
